We are big fans of the be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900, it’s one of the biggest and most unique chassis on the market, while still ticking all the right boxes for those looking for an easy to use full-tower. When we reviewed the be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 a few months ago, we absolutely loved the huge tempered glass side panel. It’s a great way of showing off the lovely interior of the chassis, as well as your favourite new hardware, and everyone knows that tempered glass looks a heck of a lot sexier on a chassis than a big plastic window!
The glass panel isn’t exactly new, it was included with the more expensive Pro model. However, if you picked up the Dark Base 900, and you’re eager to give it the tempered glass makeover, then you’ll be happy to hear that from today, be quiet! will be selling the premium add-on separately.
The panel is made from 4mm tinted and tempered glass and mounts onto the chassis using rubber pegs and thumb screws for a clean fit.
The tempered glass window will be available right now from major retailers, with an MSRP of €39 / £39 / $39, which we think is pretty fair for a bit piece of high-quality glass.
