Computex: Corsair Reveal The Carbide 540 Chassis

Corsair has released many details of their new chassis ,the Carbide 540 and all I need to say is… WOW! It utilizes dual chambers, one for your motherboard and graphics, providing cooler air to the vital components, while the other tucks the PSU, storage and other components out of the way. It’s like two mid-towers side by side and it really is quite unique in terms of design.

“The unconventional design of Carbide Series Air 540 utilizes dual chambers to deliver cooler air to your CPU, graphics cards, motherboard, and memory without your drives or power supply getting in the way. The included custom Air Series AF140L intake and exhaust fans provide great airflow performance at lower noise levels than typical case fans. And, you can mount up to six 120mm or five 140mm fans, with 280mm top radiator support and room for a 360mm radiator on the front panel.” – Corsair.com

The best thing though, aside from the cool functionality is the side panel, a dark tinted oversized panel that offers a subtle view of the system interior just adding to the overall style and I can’t wait to get my hands one of these, throw some case lighting in there and see what this things looks like, hopefully Corsair will have one for us to look at soon and we’ll port over all the finer details for you asap.
