Computex: Enermax Announce Triathlor Gold Series Power Supplies

Along with their premium series of passive/fanless power supplies, Enermax also showed us their brand new Triathlor Gold series of power supplies at their Computex booth. These power supplies have literally just been announced and they will be arriving in the August to October time frame according to what Enermax told us.
They are fully Haswell compatible, meaning they will support C6/C7 sleep states, this is due to their “ZERO LOAD” design. Having 80 Plus GOLD certification means they are also highly efficient units and gain 87PLUS certification. ErP lot 6 2013 certification is also present. Enermax have given them a “hybrid modular” cable design which essentially means they are semi-modular with the only connected cables being essential ones like the motherboard 4+4 pin and 20+4 pin cables. The cables don’t look amazing quality but apparently Enermax are opting for a 100% flexible flat cable design, to me this would suggest the display models don’t have the finished design cables.
The fan used is one of Enermax’s twister bearing fans and this should keep the PSU pretty cool, even if it doesn’t the PSU is still 24/7 capable of running at 40 degrees or higher. Enermax have also included their HeatGuard, SpeedGuard and AirGuard features with this PSU.
