CES 2016: As we take our tour of the Cooler Master suite at this year’s show, I had to stop and admire their latest power supply. PSUs are nothing new, but this one is a real winner, with a brushed aluminium exterior design that looks unlike anything I’ve seen before. The Masterwatt 1200 is a beautifully designed unit, delivering up to 1200W of power with a mighty impressive 80 Plus Titanium efficiency rating.
It also makes use of the new CM Connect Software and app, allowing you to fully monitor and control the efficiency, power delivery and stats of the unit. And as you can see below, it’s a great looking mobile app with an intuitive layout and connect via USB 3.0, meaning you don’t even need to power the PC to get access.
Equipped with the latest 135mm Silencio FP fan, it’ll be whisper quiet, fully modular cables, as well as an updated connector and cable design that can handle higher loads. To top it all off, it’ll come with a fantastic 7-year warranty. Keep an eye out for this one latest this year, because it could be one of the best PSUs we’ve seen for a long time!
