Corsair Launches Vengeance RGB DDR4 Memory Kits

Corsair has officially announced the launch of the Vengeance RGB DDR4, an RGB LED version of their previously released Vengeance LED series which were available in either red, white or blue LED colours only. Users can now set the LED colours on their Vengeance RGB DDR4 kit to any colour they wish and even adjust how it behaves. Unlike some RGB LED memory modules in the market, the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 is completely wire-free (similar to G. Skill’s RGB LED DDR4 kit) for seamless and clean integration although Corsair claims that it has zero affect on performance.

Each Vengeance RGB DDR4 memory kit supports XMP 2.0 and are optimized for Intel X99, 100, and 200 series motherboards, available in either dual-channel or quad-channel configurations. AMD Ryzen support is also forthcoming as more motherboards are tested for compatibility with these new kits. Speaking of motherboards, the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 memory kit can also be controlled and integrated with existing motherboard RGB LED software controllers such as Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion app and integration with ASUS’ Aura and MSI’s Mystic Light will also be arriving soon. For users without a compatible RGB LED motherboard however, the Vengeance RGB DDR4 can be controlled instead via Corsair’s own Link software.

Initial availability will include 16GB (2 x 8GB) as well as 32GB (4 x 8GB) 3000MHz kits. Additional capacity and frequency kit versions will follow at a later date.
