EK introduce full cover GTX 690 and 670 water blocks

EK is proud to introduce two new Full-Cover water blocks for the latest nVidia Kepler generation graphics cards. EK-FC670 GTX and EK-FC690 GTX are both high performance full-cover water block for nVidia reference design (GeForce GTX 670 and GeForce GTX 690 respectively) series graphics card.

These two water block directly cool the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it’s VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC670 GTX water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps while it’s bigger brother. Due to it’s dimensions and engineering limits the EK-FC690 GTX is more restrictive than it’s smaller brother but is nontheless still a high flow water block and multiple water blocks can be driven off a single low-power pump.

Cold-plate (base) is made of electrolytic copper (bare or nickel-plated) while the top is made of quality cast, satin finished acrylic or flat POM Acetal material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure. Water blocks are mounted with enclosed M3x4 DIN7985 screws and washers. The design allows any G1/4″ threaded opening to be used as inlet or outlet.

Both water blocks are already available in pre-order in EK Webshop. The water blocks will be readily availabile on June 27th (EK-FC670 GTX) and June 29th (EK-FC690 GTX).
