Dead Rising Coming to PC After 10 Years!

The first game in the Dead Rising series of survival horror beat ’em up video games came out in 2006 and was originally developed by Capcom. It became available on Xbox 360 consoles, and it focused on the story of Frank West, a photojournalist trapped in a shopping mall in the zombie infested fictional town of Willamette, Colorado. Ten years after the game’s initial release, Capcom has decided to bring it over to current-gen platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC, which is great news for those of you who were looking to try this game out using a mouse and keyboard.

While there it no official news regarding the game’s changes at the time of writing, Capcom is likely to reveal more about this project in the near future. It’s always nice to see developers who are making an effort to bring back some of their most successful and popular games, especially when they paved the way for acclaimed titles such as Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 3. Dead Rising 4 is actually expected to come out this year, and it will show Frank West as he returns to Willamette during the holiday season.

Are you looking forward to playing the original Dead Rising game on the PC?
