When it comes to fan controllers, the variety available on the market varies from those with a simple on/off switch, all the way up to the all singing all dancing controllers that dont just cotrol the fan but also display key information such as temperature and fan speed. Whilst the majority are very cheap and thus appeal to a certain proportion of the market, sometimes they can lack a sense of quality to them and this can then make the user wonder whether this feel is purely aesthetic or if it is resembled on the electrical side as well.

Along the years Lamptron have built up a catalogue that includes their own line of fan controllers. Each designed and built with their company image in mind each one is designed to perform the best they can and still look aesthetically pleasing in an array of case installations.

Today we are taking a look at their FC9 4 way fan controller which boasts a seven way led colour lighting scheme, throttle control operation on all four channels and 50W of power output per channel. Whilst the first of these features is not necessarily unique, its the latter that draws our focus to this product – 50W of power – PER CHANNEL!
