It has been a while since we’ve seen a new racing wheel from the house of Logitech, but the days of waiting are over – that is if you were waiting for a new racing set. The new G920 Driving Force is Logitech’s first force feedback racing wheel and it will be available for both Xbox One and PC this fall and the Logitech G29 is the counterpart for the PlayStation 4.
“The G920 is the wheel fans have been asking for on Xbox One,” said Ujesh Desai, general manager of the Logitech gaming business. “We built on our history and legacy of previous generation driving wheels to deliver on a truly immersive experience for Xbox One gamers. I personally can’t wait to get behind our new wheel to play Forza Motorsport 6.”
It features powerful dual-motor force feedback transmission with anti-backlash helical gearing, hand-stitched leather-wrapped rim, and stainless steel throttle, brake, and clutch pedals. The wheel is also compatible with the optional Driving Force Shifter, a six-speed manual gear stick with push-down reverse. This is also the first Logitech racing wheel available for Xbox One.
The Logitech G920 Driving Force is expected to be available globally at the beginning of October 2015. Just like the predecessors, it won’t be cheap and comes with an MSRP of €399.99. The extra Driving Force Shifter six-speed manual gear stick with push-down reverse will set you back another €59.99.
The Logitech G29 Driving Force is expected a little earlier and should be available in July 2015 for an MSRP of €399.99.
