New DDR3 Speed record, 3737MHz.

HWBot member Christian Ney has successfully managed to break the world record for DDR3 RAM frequency which was previously held by a Romanian overclocking team using Kingston HyperX RAM. Managing to push his G.Skill RAM to 3737MHz with latency timings of CL 11 13 13 36, the extreme overclock was done using LN2 cooling (liquid nitrogen) which kept the RAM modules at -197 degrees under load. The system used was as follows:

RAM: G.Skill 4GB DDR3 RipJaws

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A75-UD4H

CPU: AMD Llano A8-3870K at 1.6GHz (8 x 400)

GPU: Voodoo3 2000 PCI

HDD: 60GB Vertex II SSD SF-1200 Controller

PSU: X-Series 750W
