Ok, I’ll admit… I love to read books… There, I said it, I LOVE TO READ BOOKS. So long as it is not Twilight or some other book that foolishly tries to display romance and the unrealistic idea that there are 2 perfect guys for every woman. Blah… 2 perfects guys for every woman… The only perfect guy that I can think of exists only in fairy tales, even then I am sure we would just get bored of him for not being an individual after a while. No I’m not an addict… Seriously… I’m not an addict, I just hate TWILIGHT. Maybe I should blame books for this problem… Well I suppose it isn’t the book, but the author. I mean I did like books such as Enders Game. The only problem is I am starting to run out of space on my bookcase.
Luckily the folks over at ASUS have heard the cries of many of us who are running out of book shelf space and have decided to bring us an Electronic Book reader. Some of you may have heard of the new fashion craze, where you can now carry and purchase your books so you can read them without the need of a piece of paper (unless you consider the manual applicable).
With a 9 inch screen your fingers will have room to run across the screen… Oh yea and the best part, you don’t need a stylus of any sorts to operate this book just a simple scroll of your thumb will do, and within the built in wifi and HSDPA modem users will be able to almost virtually download any book they want want if they have access to a mobile tower or wifi signal.
Just to give you an idea about the difference between size of the iPhone and ASUS eBook reader, this pictures references screen size. The 9 inch screen on the eBook reader really shines as the champ between the 2 great devices.
Not only is the screen larger and better for the eyes when reading a book but the device is thinner too. A win win for the ASUS eBook reader. The ASUS DR-950 is expected to retail around $390 and be available in April of 2010.
