LG unveiling their first entry into the ultrabook market

Even though we haven’t reached the climax of the ultrabook technology, we’ll probably have to wait Ivy Bridge for that, it doesn’t stop manufacturers from starting to create some ‘appetizers’ with the current technology. Latest addition to the club is LG with their Xnote Z330.

Being an ultrabook, the dimensions have to follow a certain guideline, so to speak, which is respected with 14.7mm of thickness and 1.21kg of weight.

The Xnote Z330 features a 13.3″ LED-backlit display with 1366×768 resolution and a super-thin bezel of 8mm. It is powered by either a Core i5-2467M (1.6 GHz) or a Core i7-2637M (1.7 GHz) processor. The solid state drive available in 120GB (SATA II) or 256GB (SATA III) allows this ultrabook to boot in 9.9 seconds.

Other specifications include 4GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics 3000, while connectivity features 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, Intel WiDi support, USB 3.0 and a MicroSD card reader.

The Xnote Z330 comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 64-bit and has just launched in South Korea for a price ranging between 1.7 million won and 2.6 million won (approximately $1,501 and $2,309 respectively).
