Nintendo 64 Emulator Appears for Download on Xbox One

The Xbox One isn’t exactly meant to have emulators, for many obvious reasons such as copyrights held by the manufacturers of other systems, but that hasn’t stopped a new N64 emulator hitting the Microsoft console. Since Microsoft opened the doors to UWP apps, there’s now a system in place for developers to push their own apps to the system. win64e10 is currently on the Xbox Store, although for how long we don’t know given that the last emulator, Nesbox, was removed by Microsoft.

As you can see in the images here, users from reddit have been posting proof of the app running on their consoles.

If you want to download it, just search for win64e10 pro on the dashboard, but keep in mind, it likely won’t last long. So what’s so cool about a potentially short-lived emulator? Just that it can be done more than anything, and I can’t help but wonder how much money two companies like Microsoft and Nintendo, for example, could make if they turned such an app into a legitimate business deal.

Have you downloaded and tested this emulator? Feel free to post a picture of it running in the comments section.
