With the recent downtime of PSN and with the leaks in the news, PSN users are quite rightly, annoyed. With the recent downtime, there has not been much regarding Sonys compensation to users. However, today, users will be delighted to know that they will get somehting back. Its just the simple questionn of if that something will be equal to the damages incurred from the data leak. With reports coming in of large transactions from PSN users bank accounts’, there are large suspicions over if the CC info was actually encrypted….

Central components of the “Welcome Back” program will include:
Each territory will be offering selected PlayStation entertainment content for free download. Specific details of this content will be announced in each region soon.
All existing PlayStation Network customers will be provided with 30 days free membership in the PlayStation Plus premium service. Current members of PlayStation Plus will receive 30 days free service.
