Performance

As you can see, the Ereboss has fairly high idle temperatures compared to the rest of the products we tested, sitting 5.8c above ambient, but it does seem about on par under load.

Stock CPU Temperature

At idle the Ereboss fan is virtually silent (our ambient room noise is 38-39 bBA) and under load it is still barely a whisper.

Stock Acoustics

The cooler favoured better when overclocked than it did at stock speeds, with a nice low CPU temp at idle and performance that was about on par with the Antec water cooler when under load.

Overclocked CPU Temperature

When overclocked we only saw around 1dBA increase in fan levels, and even when at load it was still one of the quietest coolers we’ve ever tested and only 4dBA above ambient noise.
