    Heard that there’s some problem with these cards – vertical/horizontal lines and white dots as far as I can remember…. Bad batches maibe? or driver issues?

    5970 has a 2dclock problem but u could ifx that my overlcoking the 2dclock but havent rely heard anything about the 5970 ro 5850 but yes there is problem with win7 flickers on some build

    lucky as I am not having that grey line issue with my sapphire 5850. nice review by the way.

    babolgam of course that problem could appear in one card, or maybe more but it`s not necessarily to appear exactly with the card you`re buying.

    I have no experience with the 5850 but I’ve seen that gray/white line on an MSI 4890 Cyclone

    ATI released a hotfix for the 58XX series problems. There should no longer be an issue. http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/Grey-screen-and-vertical-line-corruptions.aspx
