My G15 did the same with fading keys, hence me getting this one and so far i've had no problems.

How did yours go belly up Kridian?

Logitech will offer you 50% off of their site if it is out of warranty by the way.

My G15 generation-1 went belly up a few months ago just after the warranty expired. It's hard to trust buying a keyboard from these guys again.

i was thinking of buying this for a while, but wanted to wait till it got under $60. With price drops it seems to be the time for me to pick one up.

Sorted out the typo, thanks Ant. I'm keeping all of the review layouts the same, hence page 5 and 6, as other reviews will have results on, but for a keyboard, it is very hard to write a lot about results.

Let me talk to Razer :)

I've used it on my lap quite a lot lately as i was using a home made desk (I'm not the best person at DIY) and it felt comfortable and didn't leave any aching sensation afterwards. If you have to use it on your lap often, you won't have a problem with it.

I am glad to see Logitech has kept their tradition making good better but I feel a little let down that a purely "gamer" keyboard is now more mainstream. Fortunately, I am more mainstream and this board look great (and can be had for under $70 US). It really bugs me that without a major name change it is easy to mix up with originial, but the rounded edges around screen is a nice feature for identifying between them.

Any idea how this keyboard handles as far as use from the lap?

Also i think page 5 and 6 could be all on the same page though, as page 5 is basically one paragraph :/
But other than that, excellent first written review Andy.
Keep up the good work!
I've been thinking about getting a new mouse, maybe the Razer DeathAdder.
Who knows, i might even review that if and when.

Slight typo about the price there mate, its $99 US Dollars, not £99 British Pound.
Works out around £75 or so, so still quite pricey! :O
