Research in Motion confirmed the launch of BlackBerry 7 OS today at Blackberry world, in Orlando. With the new OS, comes new Hardware.

Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on the beauty that is the 9930/9900, otherwise known as the BlackBerry Bold Touch, their thinnest BB yet!

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 marry the best of both worlds, combining the physical keyboard BlackBerry owners love so much with a high-res capacitive touch screen measuring 2.8-inches. The 9900 supports HSPA+ connectivity, while the 9930 supports CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and HSPA+ global roaming on GSM/UMTS networks.

The phone receives 1.2ghz Snapdragon goodness along with 768MB of RAM, up to 32GB of storage via MicroSD (8GB as standard), a 5-megapixel camera with flash and HD video capture, micro USB, NFC, Bluetooth, 802.11a/b/g/n, compass, accelerometer and proximity sensor.

In terms of availability, RIM havent let much slip except for the fact that it will be available worldwide this summer.

Will you be picking one up?
