As a part of the already popular SanDisk Connect Wireless family, the brand new SanDisk Wireless flash drive comes with several improvements when compared to its predecessors, including a new app and a higher capacity of up to 128GB. This compact flash drive can be accessed effortlessly using pretty much any Wi-Fi-enabled device, including tablets, smartphones and computers. The drive’s contents can be copied, moved or streamed for up to 4.5 hours on a single charge, and once that charge runs out, the stick can be used conventionally through its USB port.
The intuitive SanDisk Connect app is fully compatible with Fire tablets, Macs, PCs, iOS and Android-based devices, and it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, App Store or Amazon Appstore. It also comes with an auto-backup feature for videos and photos taken directly with the tablet or smartphone’s camera.
The vice president of retail product marketing over at SanDisk stated the following when he described this new wireless stick:
“We live in an era where we are truly living a mobile lifestyle. We use our devices to capture life’s moments, and work in a way that was never before possible – all of which has created the need for a new generation of mobile storage. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is designed to give people a simple, intuitive way to save and access all of the great content they create and consume across multiple devices, without breaking the bank.”
