At stock I was amazed at the performance of the Scythe Ashura. The performance it demonstrated was exceptional and I can only hope it carries over to the overclocked settings but we will see.

There wasn’t exactly much of a noise penalty either and the Scythe Ashura was pretty quiet.

Overclocking didn’t post such impressive results as at stock, but we saw some impressive results indeed. Essentially the Scythe Ashura in our testing performs similarly to the Noctua NH-U14S which is a great achievement as it is a lot cheaper.

Overclocking was still pretty impressive on the acoustic front. The Scythe Ashura definitely delivers more than I could of hoped for and I think it is definitely going to replace the Scythe Mugen 3 as my new favourite CPU cooler.
