Software Update To Improve Tesla Acceleration

Never before have you read a headline like that – a software update improving the acceleration of a car. Yes, according to Elon Musk, a software update will soon be delivered that will tweak the algorithm in the Tesla Model S P85D, giving it 0.1 seconds faster acceleration.
Tesla founder Elon Musk delivered the news via one his typically modest tweets –
Tesla P85D 0 to 60mph acceleration will improve by ~0.1 sec soon via over-the-air software update to inverter algorithm

We’ve come some way in that cars can now be almost physically altered by a software update, even though it’s only a matter of 0.1 seconds.
