While the GTX 560 is coming to a year of service along with the GTX 560 Ti, Nvidia hasn’t been very present with this particular ‘offspring’. Zotac have recently given it more attention, feeding it steroids at the same time.

Unlike the reference GTX 560 Ti, Zotac’s latest GTX 560 TI features 448 cores, that’s 64 more than the reference (384) but also 32 less than the GTX 570 (448). That’s not all, unlike the original memory bus of 256-bit, this new product features a 320-bit wide bus for a total of 1280MB of memory.

For connectivity we can see two DVI-I, one HDMI and one DisplayPort. The cooling is basically the same as the one found of the other GTX 560 Ti in Zotac’s catalogue with the same colour combination of black and yellow.

As Fudzilla rightfully noted, being a limited edition, it could easily be an underclocked version of the GTX 570 instead of a beefed up GTX 560 Ti, therefore being equipped with a GF110 and not a GF114, although this is rather unsure.

Pricing details and availability have not been announced but it shouldn’t take long for the Zotac GTX 560 TI to show itself.

Today is the day when we get to lift the lid one of the biggest NDA’s of the year and frankly one that has taken over my life due to it being so in-depth. The NDA revolves around the new Intel X79 chipset, which is their latest platform to run the new and awaited Sandy Bridge-E range of processors. With a new chipset and new set or processors, comes a new range of boards and in typical fashion, Asus are ready for launch with their latest Republic of Gamers board; the Rampage IV Extreme.

This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen this board, as we looked at it in a preview a while back. When we previewed this particular board, we did it in such a way that we showed you the design and layout of the board so that you could get a real feel for it and to see how things differ, not only with it being an X79 based board, but also how it compares to the older generation boards, like the Rampage III Extreme that utilised the X58 chipset.

As we only showed you the board and accessories, we’re going to kick this review off by showing you the BIOS and then getting straight into the testing phase to see what this board can do as well as looking at how it overclocks.

Am I the only one who is extremely excited about this? I’m pretty sure that it’s not just me to be honest.
