20 Years After Release and Quake is Still Getting New Content!

It may be rocking a 20 year anniversary, but the iconic first person shooter that is Quake is still going strong. Machine Games, creators of the equally iconic Wolfenstein series, have just released a completely new episode for Quake, their way of celebrating the game’s anniversary. What’s even better is that they’ve released this content for the sweet price of… FREE!

This is a really cool gesture from the team, and it’s fantastic news for those who still have a spot in their heart for the series. Most of the attention goes to the more recent releases in a game’s history, so the original getting some love is most welcome. With the creators of Wolfenstein at the help of this content, it’s a little more than your average community mod too.

If you want to get in on the action, hit up the official download here (5.3mb), and have fun!
