Although the Abkoncore ZN series doesn’t feature a ‘hybrid’ fan function, the main fan itself runs remarkably quiet and, as such, in terms of noise levels should never be a distraction.
That being said, however, our testing found that the fan does seem to run at a consistent speed. In other words, it doesn’t modify itself depending on the power output which, while not bad (based on the overall quiet noise level) is a noteworthy aspect of the design. This may, however, tie into our earlier observation that the fan provided with this PSU wasn’t designed by Abkoncore.
