The box is very nicely designed, offering up a nice image of the drive, well, half of it. There’s a badge saying it’s the 1TB model, Gen3, the product name (GM7000) and all the usual stuff really. The box is nice and compact but feels durable enough to keep everything well protected in transit.
Around the back, a quick run-down of the specifications and features, but nothing we haven’t covered already.
Inside, there’s a two-layer plastic mould holding the drive securely in the middle, as well as a tiny bag with a single mounting screw in it.
Also included with my sample is this additional heatsink, which comes in a tiny little box of its own, but it’s really nothing fancy.
