The hertz barrier in e-sports has reached a new record. At IFA 2026, Acer has officially announced the launch of the Predator XB253Q U1. It is the manufacturer’s first monitor to reach a native refresh rate of 1,000 Hz at Full HD resolution on a 24.5-inch IPS panel.
Designed for elite competitors, it lowers the visual response time to 0.3 milliseconds using its own VRB Pro technology. In addition, it includes circular polarizers to reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions. It launches at an official price of $1,099 in early 2027.
But there is more. For players who give priority to graphics quality over speed, the gaming division is launching the Predator X32 V3. This 31.5-inch display uses a five-layer Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel that increases the lifespan of the device and its maximum brightness level. It offers 4K UHD resolution at 180 Hz, VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification and a GTG response time of 0.03 milliseconds, and will be sold for $899 in the first quarter of 2027.

The Nitro family makes dynamic resolution technology (DFR) more accessible. This tool allows users to switch between the panel’s native resolution and frame rates through a direct switch. The Nitro XV275X P features Mini LED backlighting with 2,304 zones and 5K resolution at 165 Hz, and can switch to QHD resolution at 330 Hz for $1,199.
On the other hand, for those looking for a curved ultrawide format, the 34-inch Nitro XZ340CKR P, priced at $699, goes from a base resolution of 5120 x 2160 at 180 Hz to a 360 Hz mode in panoramic FHD format.
The series also includes tri-mode monitors. The 27-inch Nitro XV275U Z2 (Mini LED with 1,152 zones, $329) and Nitro XV270U Z3 ($299) allow users to choose between QHD mode at 275 Hz, Full HD at 360 Hz and an extreme HD mode that goes up to 520 Hz for professional gaming.
This huge range of new models concludes with the professional Acer ProDesigner PE270X P monitor, priced at $1,299. It is aimed at photographers and designers who need a 27-inch 5K panel with factory calibration of Delta E below 1, Mini LED lighting with 2,304 zones, the DisplayHDR 1400 standard and a USB-C connector with 90 W power delivery.
