Although ADATA may be expanding their XPG gaming line, they are not completely overlooking their storage and memory business. In fact, they are announcing the release of the UV230 and UV330 for their USB flash drive line. The UV330 is a new USB 3.1 model, while the UV230 is a USB 2.0 version compatible with most systems and devices.
Both the UV230 and UV330 use a capless design. People tend to lose those anyway. So instead, ADATA lets users slide the connector out of the way when not in use. The result is a more compact flash drive that can easily be stowed away anywhere.
The UV230 is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. Users can also choose between a black or baby blue version of the device. The UV330 on the other hand is available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB sizes. Interestingly, ADATA did not disclose transfer speed rates. However, do not expect USB 3.1 Gen2 speeds since these are mainstream USB drive solutions.
Both the UV330 and UV230 measure 55 x 22.1 x 9.5mm and weigh just 9.9 grams. The corner has a loop for passing through the connector for lanyards or keychains. Both come with a limited lifetime warranty and is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, Mac OS 10.10 and Linux Fedora version 15 or later, with no device driver necessary.
