ADATA XPG Launches ALPHA WIRELESS Gaming Mouse

XPG has been on form with their peripherals, and while they’ve not brought many to market, what I’ve tested so far has been great. Now, they’re back again, expanding their range with a new XPG wireless gaming mouse, the ADATA XPG Alpha. It’s certainly ticking all the right boxes too, having already won a 2022 Red Dot Design award, and coming equipped with the latest PAW-3335 sensor, and premium OMRON switches.

ALPHA WIRELESS

With a Pixart sensor at its core, it offers a DPI range of 100 to 16000, so you shouldn’t have any issues there. On top of that, it’s fully programmable thanks to the XPG Prime software, and the Omron switches are rated for over 60 million clicks… which would take a lifetime to wear out! The mouse can run in a low-latency 2.4G wireless mode, or via Bluetooth, giving you plenty of flexibility. ADATA say it’s good for around 60 hours of usage even with the default lighting profile enabled, which is impressive.

RGB

The RGB lighting on the ALPHA diffuses subtle and elegant light via 3 dedicated zones that are independent of each other. Light settings can be stored using 3 customizable hardware profiles or through XPG PRIME software.

Customize with XPG PRIME

XPG ALPHA is a software-programmable gaming mouse, where buttons, DPI settings, and RGB lighting effects can be customized and tailored to each user’s needs. Programmable buttons, button assignments, and Macro settings can be programmed and saved to user profiles for seamless switching between PCs.

Price and Availability

Unfortunately, we don’t know the price or release date just yet, but I suspect we’ll hear more, or even have a review sample in the coming weeks. Of course, we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more, but I can’t wait to check this one out personally.

So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
