The Adesso Vertical Ergonomic Mouse is available from Amazon.com for a very reasonable $29.94, a good price for a mouse of this type. However, should you need to save a little more money, you can opt for the wired version at just $19.25.

Overview

I really like this mouse, it’s quite simple in terms of what it is trying to achieve and while I would struggle to give up my $100 high-end gaming mouse, which offers a lot more precision and features, I can quite happily see myself using this mouse for day-to-day office work. The only thing I would need to do is swap it out for my gaming mouse at the end of a busy work day.

Adesso aimed to create an ergonomic mouse that helps minimize wrist pain and that’s exactly what they’ve done. In terms of comfort, the E10 certainly delivers and while I admit that it does take quite a bit of getting used to, there has been a noticeable reduction in the strain on my wrist that I personally suffer from. Of course, this isn’t a cure for the problem and those who do have wrist pain from using their desktop computer should still see a doctor, but as an aid to reducing the discomfort, or on another point, helping to prevent such pains, the E10 scores top marks.

It’s not the most sophisticated mouse in the world, but a 6 button configuration is more than enough for most people. It’s also a welcome bonus that the mouse is wireless as cutting the cable can be great for freeing up a little extra desk space.

The only downsides I’ve found to this mouse is that it’s not ideal for accuracy, so those looking for a fine tool for detailed Photoshop work may not be too happy with it, but if you’re spending all your day in MS Office, browsing the web and playing solitaire, then you’ll (literally) find this mouse comfortable to live with.
