With the side panel removed you see that the red paint job continues right around the main body of the chassis, covering the base, back and internal parts of the X1. The back plate comes pre cut to make room for easy instalation of you CPU cooler and there are 5 cable management cutouts, each fitted with rubber grommets.
In the back of the chassis we can see that the system comes fitted with a standard 120mm red/black aerocool fan. It’s nothing special but its more than up to the job in a chassis this size.
The drive bays offer a classic slide / screw in system, It’s simple and very reliable as the side brackets are cut from steel. You can also see in this shot, the blue USB 3.0 cable which comes pre-wired with a breakoff for 2.0 compatible systems, very handy if your motherboard does/doesn’t support USB 3.0.
Peeling away the top panel of the chassis you can see there is room for a pair of 120mm or 140mm fans to be mounted internally on the chassis.
Around the back we can see clearly the cable management cutouts, on the left of the chassis there is a slight recess to allow room for your cables, but to the right of the cutouts there is (as near as makes no difference) no clearance for your cables, fortunately there are some recess areas on the side panel which does help a little.
