AI Would Not Be Able to Create GTA VI, Says Take-Two CEO
Artificial intelligence is currently very popular. It has proven to be a useful tool in many industries, and it is also being trained so that one day it could create games by itself, without the need for human help.
However, that day is still far away. According to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, current AI models have a serious limitation — they lack the creativity needed to make a game on the level of GTA VI.
The Limits of Artificial Intelligence
Even though AI can do many things, there are still abilities that only humans possess. The ability to reason and think critically is one of them, and deep, meaningful creativity is another.
Zelnick believes that even if an AI had no limits, it would still not be able to make a game as good as GTA VI. Even if it tried and managed to produce something similar, the result would be far from what a human team could create.
The Human Touch in Game Creation
The CEO of Take-Two has emphasized the extraordinary creativity of Rockstar Games and the value of the people who make up its team. In the gaming world, there are different opinions about the role of AI. Some believe that AI will be important for improving efficiency in certain tasks and reducing the workload they represent.
For example, Hideo Kojima — creator of Metal Gear and Death Stranding — sees AI as a useful tool for building larger, more complex games while keeping development sustainable. He also believes it can enhance and support creativity in the future.
