AIDA64 Adds Support for Intel Core Ultra 200K Plus Processors
Intel is preparing to launch a new generation of processors alongside the new Panther Lake lineup for laptops. This updated series is called Core Ultra 200K Plus. These chips are essentially refreshed versions of the current Arrow Lake processors, featuring slightly higher clock speeds and a few minor improvements while we wait for the next Nova Lake series expected in 2026.
The Arrow Lake Refresh models don’t have an official release date yet, but they have already appeared in AIDA64 software listings.
AIDA64 Beta Adds Support for Core Ultra 200K Plus
According to the release notes of version 8.00.8026 beta of AIDA64, Intel plans to launch three models under the Core Ultra 200K Plus series. These include one mid-range model, one high-end model, and a Core Ultra 9 version positioned as the premium option.
The updates introduced in this Plus refresh are relatively minor. Clock speeds are about 100 MHz higher than their non-Plus counterparts. However, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus models include four additional high-efficiency cores, improving multitasking and energy efficiency.
This latest BETA version of AIDA64 also brings broader compatibility, including support for identifying Intel Xeon 600 Series processors, known as Granite Rapids-WS.
AIDA64 continues to be one of the most popular diagnostic and benchmarking tools for hardware enthusiasts, offering early compatibility updates for upcoming CPU releases like these new Core Ultra 200K Plus models.
