Alphacool Eisbecher Helix Reservoir Now Available

Cooling manufacturer Alphacool is announcing the launch of their new Eisbecher Helix reservoir which they had on preview at Computex 2017. Unlike most tube reservoirs for liquid cooling, the Eisbecher Helix has a distinct Helix pattern in the middle. It is available in red, blue, green and black cap/white helix color options.

Alphacool Eisbecher Helix Reservoir Now Available

The Eisbecher Helix 250 has an integrated UV cathode in the middle for interestingly lit UV coolants. There is also an LED lit version available named Eisbecher Helix Light. This has LED lights at the terminal ends as well. The Helix 250 is the larger reservoir, measuring 65mm x 65mm x 255mm while the Helix Light is 55mm x 55mm x 250mm. Both are made of Acetal and Aluminum (caps) with G1/4″ threads. The Helix 250 is more versatile, having eight G1/4″ threads compared to the Helix Light which only has four however.

Pricing and Availability

The Eisbecher Helix 250 is available for €79.94 with VAT, while the Helix Light is more affordable at €49.94 with VAT. It is now available through or one of their various re seller partners such as in the US.
