Overview

AlphaSync is walking a finer line on value here than they usually do, but there’s just so many great deals on hardware at the time of writing, making it look so closely matched vs building it yourself. However, the meticulous cable routing, the hardware compatibility, pre-configured RGB hardware, and the fantastic warranty and build service do make this a great value for money system. The plug and play nature of pre-built systems certainly has appeal for many consumers. The whole system warranty peace of mind for those that know how to play, but don’t really understand the hardware too.

Gaming Performance

There’s no beating around the bush needed here, it’s a mighty gaming PC. When it comes to gaming at any settings, any frame rate and any resolution, this PC will get it done. Want to hit 144hz at 1440p or even 4K? Not a problem. Want to play with ray tracing on at maximum resolution? Seriously, not a problem. The only card faster out there is the RTX 3090, and it’s not even that much faster. This is about the best GPU you can ask for today.

Day to Day

The AMD Ryzen 3800X is a beast of a CPU for just about any task. For the 3rd generation of AMD CPUs, it’s got better single core performance, plus eight cores that can really tackle those demanding work loads. Rendering videos, editing, development, streaming and more. It’s a great CPU for everything really, and the addition of liquid cooling ensures it was able to sustain high loads without throttling. If you’re gaming all night, streaming and rendering videos, it really ticks all the right boxes.

This is further enhanced by the Gen4 NVMe SSD, which gives us extremely fast loading times. At least with this your next-gen console buddy’s can’t thumb their nose at you about their new fast storage.

Should I Buy One?

I would like to see AlphaSync add a second fan in the front. You could even take the fan out the back and put it there, as the case exhausts out the top thanks to the CPU cooler configuration. It’s a minor issue though, and easily fixed. Beyond that, the AlphaSync Canine pairs on the best all-round CPUs with one of the greatest gaming GPUs on the market today. The result? Blisteringly fast performance any enthusiast gamer will love!
