3DMark
The AMD A10-7870K’s iGPU absolutely destroys the Intel Pentium G3220 and has enough horsepower to reach a score above 1600. Not only that, it’s possible to Crossfire the APU with a supported low-end discrete solution like the R7 250 and use both products to their maximum potential. On another note, the overclock hardly made any difference during the benchmarking process.
Dirt Rally
Here we can see the APU manages to cope with Dirt Rally’s low preset relatively well and maintains a playable frame-rate. To put this into perspective, you only need to look at the Intel Pentium G3220 which struggles to run the benchmark. The iGPU and R7 250 combination works really well and allows the test bench to provide a fluid user experience.
Tomb Raider
The AMD A10-7870K’s iGPU offers good performance during the Tomb Raider benchmark providing the low preset has been selected. Once again, pairing the iGPU with a supported AMD graphics solution results in fantastic scaling and more than doubles the frame-rate.
