It’s not the slowest! I mean, come on, that’s pretty damn impressive after being at the bottom of the synthetic benchmarks. Sure, it’s paired up with a 1080 Ti, but it’s the CPU cores we’re testing here, not the puny iGPU. It scored 149.4 FPS in Rise of the Tomb Raider, putting it ahead of the 2970 and 2990WX. I mean, I don’t think anyone is now going to buy this over their 32 Core Threadripper, but still. It did the same in Deux Ex too, scoring 71 FPS.
For Ghost Recon and Far Cry it scored 97 FPS and 65 FPS respectively. Slower than the Ryzen 5 1400, but only by a few frames, which is impressive given its basically half the CPU. It’s not a “gaming” CPU really, but it’ll still get the job done to some degree.
