Xfastest have recently revealed images of an all-in-one liquid cooler specifically for the AMD FX series, 4Gamer on the other hand, gives us a sneak-peak of AMD’s future heatsinks for the 7000 series GPUs.
Unclear whether they’ll be packed along the CPU itself, or be sold separately, it will most probably see the light beginning next week.
The FX liquid cooler is very similar to the likes of Corsair and Antec, it features the similar easy-bend tubes, high performance pulse width modulation, customizable RGB LED as well as a custom fan speed controller.
Even though being similar to what we already have, I don’t see any reason to complain as these features are still very useful. The complain may very well depend on the price it’s selling for.
Aside from the upcoming CPU, the GPU isn’t being heard of very much lately, we know that AMD have started their testing, but little leakage has been heard/seen of so far. 4Gamer did bring us a couple of photos regarding the new heatsink design AMD is going for.
Previously using the vapour chamber, AMD’s next 7900 series graphics cards using the next architecture GCN will be equipped with the liquid chamber technology, therefore correctly the flaw present on the precedent vapour chamber technology.
Here you can see an explanation of the various technologies, thus showing the advantages and disadvantages.
