AMD has today announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer Darren Grasby will be transitioning into a new role as executive vice president, of strategic partnerships and that Phil Guido will be joining the company as executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
Phil Guido has previously spent over 30 years in IBM most recently as a general manager, and global managing partner of Strategic Sales at IBM Consulting. Guido brings a strong background with plenty of experience in the market development of strategic customer relationships and transformative partnerships. At AMD Guido will be responsible for leading the AMD worldwide sales organization with a focus on further accelerating the adoption of AMD’s products with both commercial and data centre customers.
