AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Coming in May, According to Latest Rumors
It looks like the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards are almost here. Although they haven’t been officially released or announced yet, there have already been leaks about them. We have also seen some companies register models with both 8 GB and 16 GB versions.
Expected Release Date: May 2025
The most recent rumors suggest that these new graphics cards will be released soon, in May 2025. They will compete with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti cards, which have been priced higher than expected, just like most of NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series.
If AMD can offer these cards in good quantities at a competitive price, they could see the same kind of success that their bigger sisters, the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070, have had. These cards have sold ten times more than their previous generation models.
Specifications and Features
The technical specifications of the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT are not fully confirmed yet, but earlier rumors suggest that they will feature a Navi 44 GPU with RDNA 4 architecture. This would include 2,048 Stream Processors and base speeds of 2.620 MHz, with a boost up to 3.230 MHz. Both the 8 GB and 16 GB versions are expected to have a 128-bit data bus.
