After the release of 5 updates last month (4 official and 1 hotfix) October was certainly a busy month for AMD graphics card owners. Despite the fact that we’re only 4 days into November, however, it’s that time again. Yes, AMD has announced the release of its new Radeon Adrenalin 21.11.1 GPU drivers and if you’re planning on pumping some hours into Call of Duty Vanguard or Forza Horizon 5, the game ready optimisations on offer definitely seem to make it worth your while!

As part of the official update notes, AMD has confirmed the following game ready optimisations and fixes:

Game Ready:

  • Call of Duty®: Vanguard
  • Forza Horizon 5™
    • Up to 23% increase in performance in Forza Horizon 5 @ 4K Extreme Settings, using Radeon™ Software Adrenalin 21.11.1 on the 16 GB Radeon™ RX 6800 XT graphics card, versus the previous software driver version 21.10.2RS-426.

Fixed Issues:

  • Users may experience display corruption issues when they set their Samsung™ Odyssey G9 C49G95T monitor to 5120X1440 @ 240Hz.
  • While playing Call of Duty®: Warzone, some users may observe visual artifacts when moving the cursor in the in-game menu.

Where Can I Get My Update?

As always, if you already have the AMD Adrenalin Edition app installed on your PC (which you should if you have one of their graphics cards), then a quick check of it should prompt you to download and update to this latest driver release. However, if that doesn’t work, you can learn more (and/or manually download it) via the link here!
