AMD Reports Record Q4 2025 Results as AI and Data Center Demand Surge
AMD has shared its financial results for the fourth quarter and the full year of 2025, confirming a very strong period for the company. In Q4 alone, AMD reported record revenue of $10.3 billion, an increase of 34% year over year. For the full year, total revenue reached $34.6 billion, showing steady and sustained growth.
The main driver behind these results was AMD’s focus on high-performance computing and artificial intelligence. CEO Dr. Lisa Su described 2025 as a “defining year,” pointing to strong adoption of EPYC processors and rapid growth in AI products for data centers. The Data Center division generated $5.4 billion in Q4, up 39% year over year, supported by strong shipments of Instinct GPUs.
Data Center and AI Drive Record Growth
AI and cloud infrastructure demand continue to push AMD forward. The company’s data center business remains its strongest segment, benefiting from large-scale deployments and growing interest in AMD’s AI accelerators.
This momentum reflects AMD’s long-term strategy to compete aggressively in enterprise and AI markets, where demand for powerful and efficient hardware keeps rising.
Outside the enterprise space, AMD also delivered solid results in consumer markets. The Client segment, which includes Ryzen processors for PCs, generated $3.1 billion in Q4, marking a 34% increase compared to last year and showing improved market share.
The Gaming division also posted impressive numbers, with 50% year-over-year growth in the quarter, reaching $843 million. This growth came from higher sales of semi-custom chips for consoles and a positive response to Radeon graphics cards.
Looking ahead to 2026, AMD plans to keep this momentum going with new announcements from CES, including the Helios AI infrastructure platform and the Ryzen 7 9850X3D gaming processor. With net income up 164% to $4.3 billion, AMD enters the new year in a strong financial position, ready to continue investing in its technology roadmap.
