So we know that Ryzen is a multi-tasking powerhouse, and that’s even more true with the 2700X. However, these processors are still built for gaming, and they have some fierce competition from the latest Intel CPUs and Z370 motherboards. That being said, we saw some great performance at stock clocks, even at 4K. The performance improvements over the 1700X are there for all to see, and even the 1800X is left in the dust. However, once overclocked, the 2700X was able to compete with anything Intel has to offer and then some. Furthermore, with a framerate of 70.1 FPS at 4K for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and 69 FPS in Far Cry Primal 4K; our highest scores for those games to date. If that wasn’t enough, 144.14 FPS in Ghost Recon at 1080p was our second highest score to date, just 0.09 FPS from the top spot.
