AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D Leaks Running All 8 Cores at 5.75 GHz
As AMD prepares to launch the new Ryzen 7 9850X3D, the processor is already making headlines. Some users have shared early details, revealing that the chip can reach 5.75 GHz across all eight Zen 5 cores. This impressive speed positions it as a strong contender for the best performance-to-price gaming CPU on AMD’s AM5 platform.
Ryzen 7 9850X3D Reaches 5.75 GHz Across All Cores
Compared to its predecessor, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, this new model brings an additional 400 MHz boost in turbo speed — up to 5.6 GHz officially, versus 5.2 GHz on the previous version. However, early overclocking tests from enthusiasts tell a different story.
A screenshot from CPU-Z shows all eight cores running at 5,748.71 MHz, effectively 5.75 GHz, which is far beyond the stock configuration.
The results of this overclocking experiment are reflected in the CPU-Z benchmark score. The Ryzen 7 9850X3D managed to surpass 900 points, while the stock configuration usually scores around 800.
It’s not yet clear which settings or methods were used to achieve such high speeds, but more details are expected once official reviews are released in the coming days.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor is expected to go on sale on January 29, 2026.
