AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D Set to Launch on March 12

In just three weeks, we could see the release of AMD‘s new Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D processors. These chips will feature Zen 5 architecture and 3D V-Cache technology. According to VideoCardz, the official release date is set for March 12, just a few months after the successful launch of the Ryzen 9 9800X3D, which came out last November with 8 cores.
AMD is aiming to achieve the highest performance with the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, which could become the fastest 16-core CPU for gaming. We’ll have to wait until March 11 for confirmation when reviews of the new CPUs are expected to be released.
Intel’s Competition with Core Ultra 200HX Arrow Lake

The release date for AMD’s new processors may overlap with the launch of Intel’s Core Ultra 200HX Arrow Lake chips. The new Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D will also be released less than a week before other AMD products, such as the Radeon RX 9070 series GPUs. This raises the possibility that AMD might bundle these products together in a package that offers consumers attractive combinations of CPUs and GPUs.
Although AMD has not confirmed the prices for the new CPUs yet, there are rumors suggesting that the Ryzen 9 9950X3D (16-core version) could be priced at $699, while the Ryzen 9 9900X3D (12-core version) may cost $599. More details are expected soon to give a clearer picture of the specifications and pricing for these new processors.
