Amid the Ongoing RAM Crisis, XPG Launches the New ARMAX DDR5 Series
While memory prices continue to rise with no sign of slowing down, XPG has introduced its new ARMAX DDR5 series, a line designed especially for compact computers.
XPG Focuses on Small Form Factor Design
The trend toward SFF (Small Form Factor) builds has been growing for some time, even though compatibility remains a major challenge. RAM heat spreaders and bulky CPU coolers often clash for space. However, XPG aims to solve this problem with the ARMAX series, which features a low-profile design that fits easily into almost any compact PC case.
When it comes to performance, XPG isn’t chasing extreme numbers, but it still delivers impressive results. The ARMAX DDR5 modules reach speeds between 6,000 and 6,400 MT/s, built with high-quality ICs, integrated power management (PMIC), and On-Die ECC error correction.
Overclocking support is guaranteed with Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles, allowing users to boost performance easily through BIOS settings. XPG also includes a limited lifetime warranty, offering peace of mind in case of any issues.
Design Inspired by Stealth Aircraft
According to XPG, the ARMAX DDR5 series takes inspiration from the silhouette and color scheme of stealth aircraft. The RGB version features a V-shaped light bar on top, creating a dynamic look that can be customized through XPG PRIME software or major motherboard lighting ecosystems.
For those who prefer a cleaner and more subtle design, the non-RGB ARMAX DDR5 version maintains the same bold look but with a more minimal finish.
Now, all eyes are on whether the ongoing RAM market crisis will affect the success of the new ARMAX DDR5 series. XPG has not yet announced official pricing, so that remains a mystery for now. However, given the current situation, competitive pricing seems unlikely.
