When I first saw this mounting kit, it looks a bit strange, and honestly, a bit cheap. The ring is plastic and uses four plastic push peg mounts. They’re similar pegs to those found on stock Intel coolers. However, it took no time at all to mount, super easy, no tools, and locked in place very securely; food on me for almost dismissing it.
Then it’s simply a case of hooking the cooler into place. They mount just like stock AMD coolers do, as you simply hook one end of the arm on the bracket, then push the level down.
Both coolers look neat and tidy once mounted and feature a blue LED fan, albeit of different sizes.
