A Closer Look – H600

The design of the coolers is really nice, with a very compact pump design that should easily blend into your system build and minimise compatibility issues.

The hoses are very durable but have an impressive amount of flex to them despite their hard plastic covering. They’re a little glossy looking, but I quite like that as it matches the finish of the radiator.

The radiator is a new design, with a really smart-looking finish, lots of clean straight edges and no odd lumps and bumps on the ends like we often see on AIO coolers.

The only bit of branding is the Antec logo at the top, which is tastefully done and not too intrusive. There’s not a lot of room for creative radiator designs on AIO coolers, but this is certainly one of the better ones I’ve seen.

The build quality of the radiator far exceeds my expectations of it too. It has a good weight to it, feels durable and has been treated with a nice glossy black finish.

The pump housing is surprisingly small, especially when compared to the seemingly massive pumps used by competing brands. I’m guessing there’s a lot of hardware crammed in there, though, as there’s a good bit of weight to the block. The pump is powered by a single PWM fan header which splits into a SATA connector, which you can see on the bottom edge, so it should be nice and easy to set up.

The hoses are mounted on the pump using a swivel joint, allowing for greater manoeuvrability, and this should greatly improve the installation process. On the base of the pump, an almost edge to edge copper plate, which will provide great coverage, even for some of the larger CPU sockets supported.
