Let’s get straight to it, Antec are throwing around big words with this one. The Antec Vortex 360 ARGB comes with the tagline “The Epoch-Making All-in-One ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler” and that’s a pretty bold way to introduce something that we’ve surely seen time and time again. It’s a 360mm AIO with RGB fans, surely it can’t be that much of an improvement? But alas their product page makes plenty of claims that it is, and as I write this, I haven’t tested it, but I’m very eager to find out!
It features a massive copper base plate, their new EPDM tubing, higher density of fins and heat pipes, and their latest Fusion PWM ARGB fans, which come packed with 16 LEDs each, plus a fantastic “suspended spiral pump head design” that looks pretty slick too and it does all of this for just £99.98… wait, really? Is that all!? So what the heck, let’s jump in and take a closer look already!
“The Vortex 360 ARGB features the Antec Fusion PWM ARGB Fan, built with a unique-shaped lighting design. With 16 LEDs showcasing lighting effects and it delivers more powerful cooling for the CPU. The included ARGB controller works with the motherboard, customising each individual LED in colour and effect.”
