AGON by AOC has introduced the new AGON PRO AGP277QKDC, the first model in its new AGON 7 series. The 26.5-inch gaming monitor is designed for esports and competitive gaming. Its main feature is the combination of a next-generation Tandem WOLED panel and a Dual Frame mode that lets users choose between higher resolution or higher speed depending on the game they are playing.
In its standard mode, the monitor runs at 540Hz with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. For users who prefer maximum smoothness over image sharpness, a second mode can be activated that delivers 720Hz at an HD resolution of 1280 x 720. AOC says this approach allows players to adapt the display to fast-paced competitive titles or games where visual detail is more important while still maintaining a very high refresh rate.
The monitor uses fourth-generation Tandem WOLED technology, featuring a multi-layer panel structure designed to improve brightness efficiency and distribute panel load more effectively. According to AOC, this allows the display to reach peak brightness levels of up to 1,500 nits in small areas while also improving long-term durability.
AOC Unveils AGON PRO AGP277QKDC Gaming Monitor
The AGP277QKDC is aimed at the high-end market. It offers a 0.03ms GtG response time, NVIDIA G-SYNC support, and 99.5% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The monitor also comes factory calibrated and includes VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. These features make it suitable not only for gaming but also for content creators looking for a fast OLED display with strong color performance.
Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR 20 connection, and a USB-C port with 65W power delivery. It also includes a KVM switch, allowing users to control two PCs with the same keyboard and mouse. The physical design includes a symmetrical stand, headphone holder, cable management system, and ergonomic adjustments for height, tilt, swivel, and pivot.
Another important feature is the warranty. AOC will provide three years of coverage for OLED burn-in, an increasingly important factor for this type of display. The company also includes its OLED Care maintenance features to help preserve brightness and color quality over time.
The AGON PRO AGP277QKDC will be available in September and the official price is £699.
