AOC has unveiled its AGON Series of gaming monitors not too long ago, and the first product to be a part of this gaming line is the 27″ (68.6 cm) AG271QX model. This gaming monitor is based on a TN panel with a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate and a response time of 1ms. It also features Adaptive-Sync Technology support, which means that it offers FreeSync at 30-144 Hz range thus minimizing tearing and stuttering considerably. Apart from its impressive specifications, this product also comes with interesting features such as AOC Low Input Lag and AOC Shadow Control, which were designed to reduce lag and improve image quality respectively.
AOC implemented its Flicker-Free Technology into the AG271QX, as well as a Low Blue Light mode that reduces eye strain and discomfort during lengthy gaming sessions. Other highlights include an AOC AGON ergonomic base that supports height, tilt and swivel adjustments, and the stand is equipped with a carry handle that makes transporting the monitor considerably easier. There’s also a headset holder at the side of the monitor, which can come in handy if you want to reduce desk clutter. This model is expected to become available in June this year, and it will cost £479 or about 599 Euro.
